Inspiring Words V.5

Just a few fun illustrated quotes and thoughts to brighten your day and put a smile on your face.  You will have to forgive me as I am feeling quite worn down and not feeling too well thanks to not sleeping the last few weeks.  Unfortunately Alex’s allergies have flared up which means nights are spent sniffling, sneezing, blowing noses and tossing and turning.  The result of this is that I get very little sleep.  I may have to sleep in the spare bedroom tonight just so I can get a bit of rest.  It is certainly not his fault, and I don’t like the idea of sleeping in a different bed, but I know if I don’t get a full night’s sleep soon, I may go off the deep end.  As it is I constantly feel on edge and like I may burst into tears at any moment.  It is making it a little difficult to function at an efficient level.  Anyways, enough of my dreary self.  Read these quotes and then smile, laugh, giggle, or guffaw.

Inspiring Words V.4

I have been collecting quotes in graphic form on Pinterest for quite some time now and though it would be a good idea to share a few of my favorites with you, especially since it has been a few months since my last one.  I love coming across quotes that perfectly describe my thoughts and feelings on something.  And when they are illustrated with gorgeous typography, even better.  I think in a different life I was meant to be a graphic designer.  In this life, I admire all the pretties and envy those who can make such beautiful work.

These days, I have no other choice but to do just this.

I have to remind myself of this sometimes.

July Musical Inspiration

I wouldn’t call myself a big music aficionado, but I do enjoy a bit of music here and there.  My tastes are quite eclectic and I will listen to nearly anything at least once (except for opera, unless it is Rock Opera).  Here are just a few songs that I found inspirational recently.  Some are old favorites (from high school and college), while others are more recent, but regardless, each song means something special to me.
