When most people think of Taylor Swift they think of fluffy country-pop music. While I definitely do think this, the name Taylor Swift also brings to mind the image of gorgeous blonde locks, ridiculously long legs, and pretty dresses. I will admit, I covet her hair, her musical talent, and the closet that is undoubtedly filled will pretty frilled dresses. This talented young lady seems to be able to pull off many looks, from the dresses that are reminiscent of Zooey Deschanel, to jeans and a sweater, to gorgeous formal gowns, to bohemian hippy. Her style is not only elegant and fun, but also age appropriate, which is often uncommon amongst younger famous people. And finally, she seems like an intelligent, hard working, talented and incredibly kind and down to earth girl. I kind of even wish I could have her as a friend.
Floral is such a perfect style for her! And the black dress with lace and sequins? Beautiful!
Loving the flapper girl headpiece in the left picture. And the purple of that gown. WANT!
Can I please have this hair? And those gorgeous blue eyes? And perfectly shaped lips?
Blue is definitely a fantastic color her, but the nude is also incredibly demure.
Casual and comfortable, yet still gorgeous.

In this round of Style Inspiration it’s all about Lauren Conrad. We first met LC during Laguna Beach when she was a young teenager. She spent most of her teenage years sporting bleach blonde locks and the California surfer girl look as she attempted to woo and steal away Stephen Colletti. When then saw her blossom and grow through The Hills and become a fashion icon in her own right. Though her first clothing line didn’t manage to stick (I still think this was partly due to being attached to MTV), she never gave up and now has a very successful line at Kohl’s (which I adore), and an upcoming designer line, Paper Crown. Furthermore, her own sense of style has grown from surfer girl, to a fashionable young lady.
What I love most about Lauren Conrad’s style is that she can successfully pull of multiple different styles. From jeans and a basic shirt, to flirty and fun dresses, to leather and lace, Lauren pulls each look off with ease and beauty. In regards to her Kohl’s line, what I enjoy most is that I honestly feel that LC herself would wear each and every piece. In fact, I know that she has in some of her interviews, and she always looks absolutely gorgeous. Oh, and let’s not forget about her absolutely gorgeous hair. Man I would die for her gorgeous sun-kissed locks. Plus she seems genuinely down to earth, kind, and like she really would be an excellent friend.
What are your thoughts on Lauren Conrad’s style? Do you own any pieces from her Kohl’s line?

This edition of Style Inspiration features the lovely Emma Watson. Along with Rachel McAdams, Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel, Emma is one of my major girl crushes, and it shows by how many pictures of her I have included in this post. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that the bushy-haired bossy little girl we all saw in that first Harry Potter has turned out to be one of the most beautiful, elegant, intelligent, and inspiring young adults in the spotlight. And that she chose to continue her education (even if she is currently taking a small break) instead of jumping right into more movies, absolutely inspiring. She always carries herself with dignity and grace (which seems to be quite common among the Brits), and I really look forward to seeing what she does over the next decade (is anyone else excited about seeing her in Perks of Being a Wallflower).
One thing I love most about Emma’s style is that she can pull off so many different looks. When she had her long wavy/curly locks she could easily pull off the uber feminine and ethereal look, as well as the academic and preppy chic (which we so connect with her infamous character of Hermione). And when she chopped off all that hair (which takes A LOT of guts), she maintained her femininity, but began to embrace some more edgy looks as well. I really think she may be one of those lucky gals who can wear anything and look amazing. And her eyebrows! I definitely think her eyebrows are my favorite feature. Natural, yet beautiful and with great shape.
What do you think of Emma Watson’s style? Love it? Hate it? Gotta have it? Which look is your favorite? Least favorite?
