Whimsical Wednesday: Ryan Reynolds, Won’t You Be Mine?

It has been a little while since I did a Whimsical Wednesday, but decided to come back with a vengeance.  There aren’t many movie stars that I really love, let alone will gush about their extreme hotness and awesomeness.  Ryan Reynolds, however, is an exception to that.  I am pretty sure if I ever met him I would go a little nuts and start screaming that I want to have his baby.  Either that, or I would become completely mute and unable to think or move.  I was first introduced to Mr. Reynolds when I was in high school and used to watch Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.  I then fell further in love with him in Blade 3, despite my intense fear of vampires.  More recently I have enjoyed him in the adorable movie Definitely, Maybe, X-Men Origins: Wolverine (as Deadpool), and of course The Proposal.  His smile, his muscles, his voice, his fantastic sense of humor, his boyish good looks, he can do no wrong.  And unlike some, he seems to only get better with age.  So in honor of that, I share with you some yummy pictures of the most delicious man alive.

Whimsical Wednesday: Hair Inspiration

As I have said a number of times, my hair has been the bane of my existence for quite some time. Most of my life I have struggled with color, cut, and style, which means I have spent most of my young life with short brown hair that takes zero effort and time to style.  Because of this, I spend more than the average amount of time thinking about my dream hair.  In lieu of my upcoming haircut on Saturday, I have been cruising some hair inspiration on Pinterest.  I am far away from where I would like to be with my hair, but I will get there, eventually.  Patience is the key.

Though I can’t really pull off the blonde (I have tried), I must admit I do enjoy the styles both these ladies have.

Say what you want about Olivia Palermo, she has gorgeous hair (and flawless style).  And the bangs and curls? Divine!

I can’t wait until my hair is long enough to do proper braids and buns.

Love the shorter hairstyle that Katie Holmes and the middle gal are pulling off.  And Diana Agron’s bangs and buns?  I have always loved Emmy Rossum’s hair (lower right hand corner), and when she puts it up for formal events it looks extra gorgeous.  And of course, Kate Middleton is pretty much flawless in all of her fashion and style choices, but damn am I especially jealous of her gorgeous hair.

Whimsical Wednesday: Love Is Kittens

I know I have mentioned many things that I love here on my blog; Oxford shoes, beagles, elephants, strawberries, and of course my boyfriend.  But I don’t think I have mentioned my number one love yet.  Kittens.  I love kittens.  My boyfriend will attest to just how much I love them.  If I could be a cat lady, I would.  I would have a million cats.  I see one and I instantly go all cutesy and start squeeing.  I start to ramble sentences that make zero sense.  Overall, I see kittens and I become a pile of bumbling goo.  And so, in honor of my love of kittens, for this week’s Whimsical Wednesday, I bring you….KITTENS!
